This is my first post. I just purchased the van from family 5 days ago. No known problems. We drove it home and put a total of about 400 miles on it. Everything was fine. Today I had the oil changed. Cab air filters and fuel filter were also changed. I know the mechanics that worked on the van. Before I left their parking lot, the "Check Engine Soon" light came on. Their code reader detected an ECT of -38F, and the guage on the instrument panel was flat-lined. After a new ECT sensor was put on, the problem was not corrected. The real time data feed from the code reader maintains that the engine temp is -38F. One interesting point -- when driving the vehicle, after about two miles, the instrument temp guage begins to reigster again (temp unknown). The service light stays on. Anyone?
