I have a 2000 Silloeutte. the pwr driver side window goes up and jams and if pulled to straighten will open and close. I have taken the door panel apart. what I see pwred crossed members and one of the rivets or screws at pivot point have failed causing window to go up unevenly. My question is there is a strong compressed spring connected to regulator to help raise and lower window. Haynes manual mentions special tool to keep spring from fly loose when removing regulator section. What is tool or is there another way of safely locking spring mechanism?
