I recently had my car serviced by two different mechanics. The first mechanic wanted to charge me $2400 to replace the head gasket; however he had not taken anything apart or ran any tests to determine it needed it. I told him I wanted a second opinion and took it to a differnt person. He ran it through a test to see if it needed a head gasket and he said it didn't. He found a hose that had a leak and repaired it, he topped off all the fluids and I took the car home. Within two days it started to run hot again. It seems to be running through coolant quickly. What do you think could be wrong?

Its leaking somewhere if there's no exterior leak than its burning in the combustion chamber/cylinders-get it block and pressure tested.
