I have a high mileage car that I would like to keep for as long as possible.

My car will occasionally have huge issues upon start-up if I haven't driven it in over a day. It will run rough, buck and threaten to stall then after a few minutes of running, it will all of sudden "catch" and work fine from there on out. It is almost like it needs its morning coffee.

I have changed the O2 sensor, plugs/wires, fuel filter and do regular oil changes. However, at one point after a trip my oil dropped to the point that the light came on.

Lastly, my transmission fluid seems to need replaced alot these days.

Clean out the idle air control valve and test the TPS and MAP sensors.
