If my vehicle had the power steering rack replaced...normally would the power steering pressure and return lines have been replaced too, if there were signs of a leak...should be charged for labor on two seperate repair jobs?

Hi Judy,

To answer you question....

The hoses won't neccessarily be replaced as long as once the rack was replaced and the hoses are check for defects and there were no leaks.

Most repair shops use a Labor Guide and the repair work will show up as 2 seperate repairs on the same work order.
