I have a 2000 olds bravada,4.3engine and a 4l60e transmission, 125000 miles onthe car. I have no reverse when i put it into reverse its like it is in netural. The car shifts hard from 1 to second usually will shift from first to second if i let up on the gas

hard shift from 1st to 2nd is your valve body.is your service engine soon light on if so have the codes checked.

the reverse reation sun shell is stripped,very common problem.there is an updated sun shell for this vehicle.trans has to torn down to fix.
