1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 3.8l eng. mileage: 78,000.
Hi, just wondering if replacing the timing chain & what ever goes with it (or with everything that may have also gone wrong) will be worth it, or if putting a rebuilt engine into a 89 ford ranger xlt would be smarter or cheaper? Which one will cost me less? in the long run...

Just change the chain and both sprocket if you wish-you'll be fine.
