Removal of Oil Pan to clean the screen

I have a 1989 Olds Cutlass Ciera, 96,000 miles, 2.8L enginer, automatic trans. What does it take to drop the oil pan to inspect the screen on the oil pump? If I cannot do it myself, approx. what should it cost to have this done?

Take a look under it, it may be an easy to remove pan, if you do it,seal the pan with the new rubber ends in the gasket set...What is the concern with the screen?
