I have a '91 cutlass 4 cyl. I found the 4 relay switch boxes on the left hand side of the car by the support of the front of the car, but now i am having trouble getting them open. Does anyone know how to open them?
Thanks Sarah :D :D

[quote:e3c2051504="eabo1"]I have a '93 t-bird. V-8, 86,000 miles. Has passive restraint belt (shoulder harness). The passenger side works fine but the drivers side quit working. I can faintly hear a motor running but the belt does not move when the door is opened to enter the car. How do I access the sliding mechanism to see what the problem is? Is it possible that it somehow just became disconnected from the (cable?) The belt slides from the top of the door down toward the dash when working properly, but is currently stuck in the top position.

Any help?

Thanks in advance..[/quote:e3c2051504]

Usually the plastic belt gets stripped by the motor's teeth and the whole thing has to be replaced.

They had a recall on them years ago so you might try calling your local Ford dealer and give them your VIN so they can run it to see if it's still covered? It used to be "safety" recalls were good for life but it may o have changed? Keep my fingers crossed for ya...
