Clunking noise when turning

I have a 2001 olds alero. When I turn left or right there is clunk/knocking noise coming from the drivers side. I have replaced the cv joint, hub bearing and the bushing on the lower control arm. What else coudl it be?

my g/f's 2001 has the same problem, it is the rack and pinion gear on her's. Relatively cheap part, just hard to get to.
