car problems

I have an olds achieva 1997 and my break light and abs light will not go off and i cannot take the car out of park what should I do

ok this sounds like a shift interlock cable problem

it is a cable that runs from your shifter to the brake pedal , you should have a small slot on the shifter base that you can fit a key type object into , if so try that and see if the shifter moves atleast this will get you going for now
