i have a 2003 olds alero, v6 3.4L with 40,000 miles.it started with just being hard to start, mostly when the car is warm or it is warm outside. the car will crank but sometimes takes 20 minutes to get started. the other day when i was driving, it just died. started back up and did the same thing a minute later while driving. i was able to get it started and drove fine to get to the dealership. i dont know if it was my imagination, but i found it easier to start if i would turn the key to start without letting it crank 5-6 times fast. then it would start. it is still at the dealership since monday with two master technitons, they cannot find the problem. there is no check engine light on. i had the crank position sensor changed because thats what one place told me it was. my mecanic has been over everything and so has the chevy dealer. i dont know what to do with a car that will now be dangerous to drive on a busy road and nobody can find the problem. any ideas? do i have to start changing a bunch of parts to find the problem?

Have your fuel pressure check, and also check the fuel pump relay
