I have a 1998 Oldsmobile 88, 3.8 engine, with around 190,000 miles. I am having 2 issues with it. First, from time to time, it will not start. So, I attempt to tighten the battery cables, and it still doesn't start. Then I wait about 2 minutes and it fires right up. Any suggestions??? Second, my radio spontaneously changes from radio to CD all by itself if it is on. If I have it off, it will turn itself on and then go to CD mode. Any suggestions???
Additional: When the car finally starts, it starts up just like normal. The only difference is that I retighten the battery cables and wait about 2 minutes.
