axle replacement

99 olds bravada 80,000 miles 4.3 engine replacing front axle are there retaining clips at inner part of axle that may come off in transmisson when pulling axle out?

Check your e-mail for the larger version. MAke sure you torque that axle nut right, or the bearing will get damaged.
