Just had my car serviced locally, and they had to use their "full diagnostic machine". When I got it back, there were 2 fuses blown - one controlled the flashers, the other was for the power locks opening or closing when the transmission was engaged.
So I was driving one evening and when it was getting dark my headlights came on. But, the lights went out for the odometer, radio, comfort controls and gear selection. Also, no dashboard lights. When it was really dark I could faintly see the numbers for all of the above systems that turned off.
My guess is some sort of relay is supposed to turn on the dasboard lights and the "night lights" for the odometer, radio, etc... but was also burned out by the diagnostic.
I know of a block of relays in the engine compartment against the firewall, and under the passenger side dash. Is one of these the right relay? If not, where should I look?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
