the ignition module went out in my 89 olds 98 regency. my boyfriend replaced it and it started up but after it was warmed up i started to smell something electrical burning. It ran beautifully before this happened. never had any trouble with it. can anyone please tell me what might have went wrong?
also, does the timing have to be set after replacing ignition module?
