1982 oldsmobile cutlass ciera stalls when head lights are on

I just got this car 3 weeks ago. it just got out the shop. but they didnt fix what i asked them to. my car is great in the day time. purs like a kitten. when it comes to night time when i have to turn my head lights on my car stalls. I really need help because i have two babies. and one night i was turning in a lot and my car cut off across the double lines and we almost got hit by a simi. it starts right back , but cannot have it doing this to me. my car has 54,800 on it so great!. i really need to fix this problem please help me. like i said it's only when i have to turn my head lights on. my car acts up.
