can i go to a junk yard and pull out an alternator and put in the intrigue? or is there a specific one for specific makes?

Hello,

You can't just go and get one out of any vehicle and put it in yours. Here is what you can do, go by your local parts store and have them look up the alternator for your vehicle. Then ask them to check and if possible print out the list of other vehicle that alternator will fit. Then you can call around to some junk yards and see if they have any of those vehicles in the yard.
