My parents are in their second bankruptcy and my dad is on social security disability. They were approved to get their tax return in order to buy a vehicle. They bought a 99 Oldsmobile Cutlass off some kid last night. It ran out of gas on the way home (we got it started) and now it's overheating. They drove it to a repair shop who told them they needed a new head gasket and spark plugs... they quoted them a price of $1200. Is this a fair estimate?
