firing order?

Hi:

Standing in front of the vehicle looking at the the coil packs, there are three of them. From left to right, the first coil pack is 1 & 4, the second coil pack is 6 & 3, and the third coil pack is 2 & 5. Now still standing in front of the engine, the first three cylinders in front of the radiator are 2,4 & 6 and the last three near the firewall are 1,3 & 5.

The firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6 if it is a 2.8 or 3.1. What you did not say is what engine it has (2.8 VIN "W" or 3.1 VIN "T")

i know the firing order for my car its 1,6,5,4,3,2 but i need a picture or something cause i dont know where these are like what wires is #1,6,5,4,3,2 and where is #1 wire is it the one on the left closest to the bumper or closest to the windsheild i dont know?
i replaced my distributor cap and i thought i put wires on in the right order but theres a clicking sound from it and my friend said i put the wires on wrong thats why i need to know which wire goes where
