car shuts off while driving, will restart and sometimes this car will go 50 miles before it shuts off again,scan tool shows no codes and the fuel pressure is constant.car runns great no misses or anything it just shut off the restarts

check the crank position sensor, these are classic symptoms, and GM is good for this problem in their vehicles from 89 to 2003
