Can I swap the 3100 engine in my cutlass for a 3400 engine out of a 96 Pontiac transport? Will my trans. bolt up to the 3400? Thanks for responding to my question!

yes if I remember correctly , these two engines have the same block, the only difference is the upper plenum etc. both engine compartments are designed for both engine sizes. tranny's are also the same
