My original EGR Valve from the factory lasted almost 12 years with no problem, and I had it replaced 17 months ago. Now my service light came on and when the service place hooked the computer up to my car it indicated the EGR Valve was the problem.
1. What can I do to help lengthen the life of the EGR Valve?
2. Are there better valves on the market that will last longer?
It is hard to beleive that the new valve cannot last longer than the original. Any suggestions?
