1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Clicking sound when brake pedal pre

There is a fast clicking sound when the brake pedal is pressed. The brakes seem to be working ok though
We are thinking of purchasing this auto so a response asap would be greatly appreciated.

yeah but the pads may still be low and the indicator is probably hitting the rotor. If it happens when you apply the brakes, it shouldnt be anything serious, pads or rotors
