Smells problem
1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
3 months ago I had the gas tank changed because it was leaking... I never really filled the gas past 1/2 a tank during the winter.. never smelled gas.. well the other day I happened to fill the gas up and theres been a strong odor of gas inside the car I had someone look at it and said there was no leaks that they could find but it smelled like raw gas.. there was no visiable signs of leaking or of smell on outside of car... What are the possibilites that could be wrong..

New tank or used?

May be a sending unit line leak or other line starting to rot such as a vapor line.

PRobably the sending unit lines are the source.

Using a lit match....just kidding.

Filll it up and use good lighting, your nose and mirrors to narrow it down.

LOL I will definiitly look at the sending unit.. you've been a great help narrowing the possibilities down...

P.S. Make sure a blonde is not doing the job... I can certainly see them down there with a lit match......
