I have a 3.4 liter olds cutlass that is currently getting 15mpg highway worse around town. It also cranks for a long time before it will start. The hard start is random sometimes it starts right up sometimes you have to crank it a couple times to get it to fire. If I put my foot to the floor on starting it starts faster but a big cloud comes out of the tail pipe that also sets a maf code 101. The maf is a reman and the car runs fine other than the starting problem. there are new plugs, wires air filter fuel filter and pcv in the car. It does run on all 6 cylinders but I am not sure if the plug wires for 6+3 are in the right place I have moved them back and forth and the car runs just about the same. They share the same coil pack.
