1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass locate the a/c drain hole

Hello - To better assist you please tell me your specific model from the pic below and your engine size in liter. Also how many miles on your vehicle

Since it is on the passenger side are you sure it isn't engine coolant?

It is a 1992 Cutlass Ciera S
It has just under 160,000 miles
It has a 3.3 liter 6 cyclinder engine
I'm sure the puddle in the passenger floor is water (not coolant)

Hello - Thanks for the info........ I ask about the coolant since many times when the heater core fails it leaks as seeps out on the passenger side. With 160K that is a possibility if not now in the future..... The manual doesn't' show a good pic so I am going to attach a pic from a vehicle I have tore apart to give you an idea. On the pic below, this is the passenger side. The drain hose you see going through the firewall goes into the engine bay. It connects to the base of your HVAC and drains the condensation. You may be able to slide your hand between the HVAC and the carpet and feel the hose....ensure it is connected. If so then let's go to the engine bay.

On the pic below you see your AC lines that go into the evaporator. Probably straight down from it on the firewall, you should see that drain hose that you saw in the pic above sticking through and pointing down...check to see if it is clogged with dirt etc. If so...you have found the problem. If not...then the next pic.

As you see from the pic, this is the inside of the HVAC, yours should be similar. The arrow is pointing to the drain hole that the drain tube connects to..then goes through the firewall. Gently ease something flexible up the tube as there may be something blocking this hole. I say gently as the evaporator sits right by that. If you puncture the evaporator no more AC and you have to replace it.....that is a job.......so please go easy. You may even try taking an air hose and gently blowing air up into it......
