1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I recently got a 90 cutlas supreme and the passenger wiper is intermittent in working. I am able to move it by hand. What is the fix to make this work so both wipers don't hit each other when on?

Sounds like the wiper arm / drive is stripped out. The wiper arm is connected to a spline shaft on the wiper driver. Flip the arm back, there should a sliding clip affair that locked it on. No doubt you will find the arm, shaft or both are stripped out.

K thanks. Other then replacing shaft if that is stripped any "cheats" to a fix? If not will rpl the shaft at a later date.
