Milage is in km. Alternator voltage reads 12 volts then 2 minutes later reads 14 volts. This may occur once every couple days or every day, it's not predictable in other words. When the Alternator reads 12 volts the charge light appear on the display.
The car also stalls unpredictably either when stopped or once the gas peddle is released.
Any advise would be appreciated, I am leaning towards an alternator issue but have been told by an mechanic experienced in alternators and electrical work that it's a problem in the ECM or that it didn't reset properly after the battery was replaced.
The car had none of these problems prior to the old battery dying and the new one being installed.
