I have a obd1 code connector but it does not have the wiring of an obd1, it has only 4 or 5 wires in it. How can I find out what the codes are for this.
The problem is it will not start in cold weather (below 45) or after is has set for 10 min when hot. It cranks fine, just does not turn over. But when the tem is 50-60, starts up just fine. I think it may be the engine temp sensor. Am I right?

Hi,
My DLC is different from the OBD1 & 2. It is a 12 pin shell but has only 4 connections, for the A,D.M and one below the letter C. Can I ground out any of these to get the ecm codes?

Hello Thanks for the donation. Before jumping in and replacing parts that would seem to be the cause, I suggest first scanning the vehicle to see what the engine code is pointing to. To do this without a diagnostic scanner, you can perform the following operation..
