Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Oldsmobile Ciera 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

This is my mothers car
The car will turn over but it wont start unless you spray starting fluid into the throttle body. Then you can rev it up, drive it, whatever u want. As soon as i shut it off it wont start and i have to spray it with starting fluid again. Ive cleaned the MAF sensor Replaced the fuel filter, and Checked the fuses. Im not a mechanic by any means so im getting a tad frustrated with this. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Acually, it is easy to do. You will need a pressure gauge, but most nationally recognized parts store will lend them to you, so there shouldn't be any expense out of pocket. Here is a how to video and directions.

Let me know what you find.

The pressure reads about 45psi. So its ok. The guy at schucks said its normal. How can u tell if the injectors are bad?

To check injectors, you need a noid light. It is a simple thing to use. Unplug the injector and the noid light plugs in. When you crank the engine, the light should pulse on and off when the injector is getting power.
