I just received my Oldsmobile Cutlass from my Uncle. This is the first car I've ever owned and I know very little. I live in Los Angeles were I am required to brake often, however, I've noticed my brakes seem to be hotter than what I would think to be normal. I also drove the car from Nevada to Los Angeles, where I rarely braked, and they were STILL too hot to touch. You can't touch it at all without burning your hand, although I don't smell anything burning I can't help but be concerned. The back wheel are not hot at all. This is a list of what my uncle did to the car before I received it.

-Remove rear drums and lub all
-Remove Front brakes, turn rotors, lub, add new ceramic brake pads.
-Bleed all brake lines until new fluid shows.
-Lub 4 zert fittings

Any ideas on why my brakes would be running hot?

I would suggest that you have it inspected as soon as possible. You could have a problem causing the brakes to not fully release. There are a umber if different possible reasons for that so it should be inspected to determine if that is happening or not.
