1992 Oldsmobile Ciera battery troubles

I just recently replaced the bettery and i had a small start up when i turned the ignition and then nothing, iver tried multiple times to re-start and nothing. all the electrical in the car is out. i dont know if its because it attached the terminals in the wrong order or if i tightened them too tight or if i blew out the ecs when i tried to restart. any advice to troubleshoot is appreciated.
