3 days ago the engine started knocking really loud minutes after getting gass. I just had the head gaskets and thermostat replaced-temperature was fine. The guy I had do my head gaskets checked everything and all he could figure out is that I may have gotten some badly watered down gas. He suggested I get a gas can, fill it with higher quality gas-Chevron with Techron-and run the gas that was in there completely out of the car. I did that and put the better gas in there and refilled the whole tank with same Chevron gas. The knocking as stopped, however the car is still running sluggish. It takes as many as 2x to get it to start-especially early in the day. It still sputters a bit. Also I can hear what sound like a squirting and draining fluid noise coming from under the hood on the passenger side. This morning it died on me twice coming out of intersections. Likely culprit?
