I just drove 8 miles to pick up my glasses. As I pulled back into work I started to smell something burning. I saw smoke coming from under the hood. I looked and found that the smoke was coming from what appeared to be "underneath" the radiator fan motor. I have not been able to look at the bottom of the motor to see if I have wires melting etc. How do I check to see if the motor is seized up and if so how do I replace it?

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect wiring harness from motor and the fan frame.
3. Remove fan guard and hose support as necessary.
4. Remove fan assembly from radiator support.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
There is the instructions on how to replace it i would check and see if the fuse blew for the fan also.Make sure the wire's didn't melt to the exhaust manifold. You be able to smell if the motor burned up.
