1986 Oldsmobile Ciera 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Have a broken hood release cable...is there any way to release safety latch from outside of car with cable broken??

You need to get underneath the car and there should be a latch with a cable attached to it, you need to pull the latch to the left if you were on your back looking up at the car, this should release it.
