This click noise can be caused by one of two things either you have a loose spark plug or a broken flex plate which means you will need to remove the transmission.

Here is a guide to help you check the spark plugs

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-change-spark-plugs

This will show you how to remove the transmission to replace the flex plate diagrams (below)

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken

1993 Oldsmobile Bravada 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

Every now and then once I reach 10mph, I loose about 50% power. The engine still runs but I have very little power. When the power is deduced I hear a single click come from under the hood. The problem will last for a few days and then everything will return to normal. The engine does not misfire when this occurs.

Thanks

Do you have a check engine light?

Have these components checked below

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)
