Turn signals come one sporadically, hazard lights not at all. Could this be the turn signal relay needing replaced?

Do you mean they only work once in awhile?

If they light up but not flash, then the flasher needs replaced. If nothing turns on when actuated, then I would suspect the switch is going bad.

If they decide to work, they light up and blink, So replacing the multi switch is the way to go? Also the most expensive way lol

I feel that is where the problem is coming from. However, have it tested before purchasing a new one.

hello and thanks for donating!
are the indicators in dash coming on at all? if not, check for faulty signal fuse. also check turn signal flasher relay if fuse is OK. if both are OK then suspect faulty signal (multi function) switch.

Some parts stores will do it for you. You will need to call and ask.

It would be tested differently on the car and I doubt a store would do it. Please, contact the stores around you to make sure they can do it before you go to all the trouble. Also, make sure the battery is disconnected at least 30 minutes before you start working around the air bag.

You need to find a wiring schematic and double check all the connections. I have access to one, but I have no way to copy and paste it.

I put the left signal on the lite on the dash lit but did not blink. The same for the right a couple miles later. Got home tried both again neither lit. 4-way flashers work , fuse is good , reverse lights ok , same fuse as turn signal , checked bulbs when 4-way flashers were on - ok . Is there a relay for the turn signals ? & if so where is it located ?

I wired it exactly the way it was. I'll take it to this mechanic friend of mine this weekend to get a second opinion, maybe he can see something i cant.
