Gear Shift

The gear shift is stuck in park. When you press on the brake it is suppose to release the button on the shift for you to engage the shifter to drive, etc. The button will not release.

The shift lock on your vehicle is activated by the brake light switch under the dash.
I have attached the wiring diagram for your shift lock system below, as well as a guide that may help you diagnose it
