I recently changed the radiator in my truck and now I am experiencing major power failure. There seems to be no power what so ever as I accelerate, and when it kicks down it revs up still with no power, and when driven at a constant speed it kind of chugs like its running out of gas.

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating, jerking, bogging, misfiring etc. could be caused by one of the following below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it.

Hi,

Is the vehicle running at the correct operating temperature? Did you have any trouble with the transmission cooling lines? Was any coolant spilled onto the engine itself?

Sorry, I'm struggling to think of what would cause a power loss under these conditions. Let me know as much as you can so I can try to narrow things down. Additionally, let me know if the check engine light is staying on while the engine is running.

Take care,

Joe
