i bought my truck from a girl that thought it had a tranny prob but that is fine the problem i am haveing is that it will be in park and ill rev it up to 3 grand and then it fall flat on its face i change the fuel filter last night and it still didnt help how would i go about find the problem

More than likely the ignition is breaking down some where, whey do you want to free rev the engine so hard, you will only do some damage doing this with out a load on the engine.
