I replaced my gas tank(leaking because of corrosion??) and repaired my A/C about 3 weeks ago. When I got the car from the mechanic everything seemed ok. One week later my car overheated due to a leak. The water pump and radiator were replaced. The car is no longer overheating, but now while the car is in idle it shakes like crazy and makes a loud clanking noise and sometimes cuts off. The spark plugs were replaced but it still shakes. Did the original repair of the gas tank and A/C trigger the overheating problem? Is it purely coincidental?
