I believe the whole tube screws in and out of the motor block very carefully. At least thats the way it was on my chevy corsica I had. You just have to be careful not to bend the tube while trying to unscrew it as a seal of caked up oil will be created from over time. Be sure to look for a screw/bracket that may be used towards the bottom of your tube. That is a mounting bracket for the tube. Its actually a very simple task. Most effort used for this task is "Common Sense". Difficult level on a scale of 1 - 10, it's a 3 .
