Bought car new from dealer. Yes, it has 430,000 miles on the original engine. I have been running 100% synthetic oil since 1st oil change. My problem is that engine has began to miss at idle. This did not occur before the transmission was rebuilt. I have been driving the car in this condition for about 100,000 miles. Took it to my local mechanic. He suggested new plugs, wres, filters, etc.... I replaced all mentioned components. No change. I purchased a new ECM and had it installed. No change. What could be causing this problem? Need help this is my commuter car. It travels around 1100 miles a week.
