Hello !

Thanks for reading this posting. I have a question aboutTie-rod ends (left-outer) being replaced. Is this unusual for this part to wear down?

I thought they would pretty much last the life of the car.

Thank You,

Mark

no it's not unusual , they have a lot of wear and tear to endure, not a bad idea to inspect then every so often and replace as needed.

Nope! You are lucky to have gotten 106,000 miles out of it. They do wear out!

Merlin2021 and bluelightnin6 !

You guy's ROCK ! !

Thanks so much for comments. Now I can go the mechanic who services the car. I was told about the tie-rod from a tire shop.

Which is why I thought I get a 2nd opinion !
