I spent 1200 in mid June of 2008 to fix the cooling system. They found the intake gaskets leaking and water pump leaking. They removed the intake manifold, both valve covers, replaced the intake manifold gaskets, both valve cover gaskets, all related gaskets and seals. Replaced the water pump, and serpentine drive belt.

It's now 4/30/08 and I noticed leaking and got an estimate. My estimate reads engine fluid leaks. oil pan and the front crank seal is leaking. estimate 740.00.

Question, is this related to my first repair about a year ago or unrelated and does this price sound appropriate for the Indianapolis, IN area?

Thanks

I do not think they have anything to do with the last repair. however, it seems that they cant tell for sure what is leaking and want to replace both parts. and what they want to charge seem to be a little high. Get more estimates.
