2000 Oldsmobile Alero glowing exhaust pipe/ mis firing

2000 Oldsmobile Alero 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

car showed a mis fire detected code so i changed the plugs and the coil packs this car does not have standard wires. it misses so bad that it shuts off when i try to drive it the gas and brake deal wont work lol..anyway i looked under the car and the exhaust pipe was glowing red..? any ideas?

This is often a mixture problem with the car over rich, you may be looking at a faulty injector that is leaking causing excessive fuel, have this checked out or you will destroy the cat converter.
