The car will die randomly while driving and start right back up most of the time (either pull over to the side of the road, or pop in nuetral while driving and start back up). Sometimes the car will halfway die, what I mean by this is the gauges will flutter the car will stumble and either die completely or the car will act like it started itself back up and continue driving perfectly fine. While the car is running it has no performace issues (poor gas mileage power loss etc). Sometimes the car will crank but not start. It is throwing a code saying the crankshaft position sensor is bad, I have replaced it and it went 1 and 1/2 days fine then the same problems came back. It still continues to throw the code off and on. The code does not stay on constantly. I have checked the wire from the ckp up to the ignition control module, it ohms fine and has a good reference voltage on both wires. I took off the ICM and had it tested at an autoparts store, they tested it 3 times and it passed fine everytime. I"m not sure what else to test or what the problem left could be?
