I'm an idiot. After my rearview mirror fell off, I attempted to re-attach it using the correct adhesive. Them I glued the darn mount on backwards..not upside down, but backwards. How can I remove it without cracking the windshield or stabbing my arm with the knife I was using to pry it off? (Reference my first sentence)

Hello,

Honestly, I have not found anything in my area that will work to dissolve the adhesive. Maybe one of the other techs on here can shed a little light on this subject. But, I have ended up having to purchase a new mirror glue kit that included the mounting pad. And just put in below the other one leaving enough room to get the mirror back on.
