1991 Oldsmobile 98 flashing engine light

The car came to me for a bad harmmonic balencer,changed it and the cps senser. the car will start but after20 or 30 secons it will shot off, one thing i notice was the engine light flashing fast or like a fluter. Check pcu is good coil good control modual good also. Dont know what to check ? please put me on point

Have you checked for codes? Was crankshaft sensor adjusted with toolJ-37089 or equivelent?

I ADJUSTED THE CKP SENSOR WITH THE PROPER TOOL AND THE SYSTEM WOULD NOT READ OUT ANY CODES WHEN I HOOK IT UP TO THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE DOES CRANK UP, BUT CUT RIGHT BACK OFF UPON CRANKING. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND.
